Thann Textiles takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect through this website, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

2. Data we collect
- Contact form: last name, first name, e-mail, phone, subject and content of your message, how you found the website, newsletter subscription if any.
- Sample request: last name, first name, company, SIRET or VAT / company registration number, e-mail, phone, postal address, selected fabrics, additional information.
- Newsletter: e-mail address.
- Technical data: connection and browsing data needed for the website to work securely (see “Cookies”).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your contact and information requests – legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps.
- Handling your sample requests (shipping, sales follow-up, invoicing) – pre-contractual steps and legal accounting obligations.
- Sending our newsletter – consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Protecting our forms against spam and abuse – legitimate interest.
4. Recipients
Your data is intended for authorised Thann Textiles staff. It may be processed by our service providers, strictly within the scope of their services: OVH (website hosting, France), Mooverflow (website development and maintenance), Axeptio (cookie consent management) and Google (reCAPTCHA anti-spam service). Your data is never sold or rented.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Google reCAPTCHA may involve a transfer of data to the United States. Such transfers are governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention periods
- Contact and sample requests: 3 years from our last exchange.
- Accounting records related to an order or invoice: 10 years.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Cookie choices: 6 months; cookies: 13 months maximum.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to give instructions regarding your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to contact@thann-textiles.com or to the postal address above. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 Paris Cedex 07 – www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country of residence.

8. Cookies
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, refuse or customise non-essential cookies. The website uses:
- strictly necessary cookies for the website to work and to remember your choices (Axeptio), which do not require your consent;
- Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms against automated submissions and may collect technical information about your browsing (Google privacy policy).

Thann Textiles implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data (secure HTTPS connection, restricted access, backups).
