TEXTILE INDUSTRY
We are aware of the environmental footprint of the textile industry, and are committed to improving our practices as part of a responsible approach.
Our company holds France Terre Textile certification. The majority of our plain fabrics are woven in the Vosges region, and our finishers are located mainly in France and Europe. We are committed to producing in France wherever possible to ensure better product traceability, limit the carbon footprint of our business activity and contribute to the preservation of local know-how.
Most of our products are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring that the materials and components we use comply with requirements regarding the use of chemicals and are not harmful to health.
We strive to limit the use of plastic packaging, and we reuse cardboard tubes for shipping our products.
SOCIAL INITIATIVES
Thann Textiles regularly participates in social initiatives by donating fabrics to associations, inclusive employment workshops, and recycling organisations.
We are also sponsors of the Wesserling textile museum.
We donate fabrics to the “Vivre comme avant” association, which supports women living with breast cancer.
